Darryl Ormston wanted to introduce a new record to help raise funds for the RFDS Qld, at the Big Red Bash in Birdsville Qld.
After some brainstorming a spark went off and it was decided the idea of crushing cans in the fastest time would work, also if he set the record it could gain traction and continue to raise money in the future.
By the way cans need to be crushed before going into the recycle bin anyway, so why not 'kill two birds with the one stone’
Darryl crushed 33 cans with one foot in only 16.29 seconds!
