Australia's Longest Single Line Dance

Date of Record: 21/10/2017

At Australia’s Grand Country Carnivale in Roma Qld a new record was created when line dancers came from far and wide to line dance their way into the record books.

It was an emotive event beginning with a welcome to country & smoking ceremony, in respect to the Mandandanji elders past & present.

Michele Frost, of Jacque Leigh Event Specialists, organised the inaugural event bringing people from different communities together.

125 line dancers took part led by Michele and proudly got the toe tapping rhythm happening.

There was even a member of the four legged kind participating. Thanks to Kim Goward and horse Comanche who showed everyone how it’s done.

Fantastic effort!
