Harry Singh a very passionate gardener organically grew the largest bottle gourd (calabash) family vegetable.
It is one of the chief culinary vegetables in many tropical and temperate regions around the world.
Harry credits his good fortune to the favourable weather conditions in Melbourne.
The bottle gourd weighed in at 8.9 kg and measured 130 cm.
