Freestyle Motorcross World Champion - Josh Sheehan

Date of Record: 23/08/2014

Josh worked on his family's orchard farm in Donnybrook from the age of 14 to save up for his first motorbike, then practised on ramps relentlessly.

He won the fifth and final leg of the world tour in the South African city of Pretoria scoring 360 points in the overall tour, followed by New Zealand's Levi Sherwood at 270 points. He came top in every heat by a unanimous decision for a maiden crown.

Josh's victory was secured when he executed one of the most dangerous tricks in the world - a double backflip!!
