The Biggest Man Made Lake

Massive Lake Argyle in WA is the biggest man made lake in Australia. It's up to 13 times larger than Sydney Harbour and holds up to 32 million cubic metres of water.

Created by the Ord River Dam, it's so huge that it's classified as an inland sea. The 900 kilometres of shoreline support a variety of reptiles and marsupials and some of these are found on the many islands dotted across the lake.
