The Longest Jetty timber piled (Jetty) in the Southern Hemisphere - Busselton WA

Stretching 1.8 kilometres across Geographe Bay, Busselton Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty (pier) in the Southern Hemisphere. Construction of the jetty began in 1853 and was continually extended until the 1960s when it reached its current length of 1841 metres. It is appreciated for its spectacular Underwater Observatory, Jetty Train and myriad of recreational uses.
